San Francisco-based Matt Sartain is a photographer who is influenced by his love of storytelling, which is highly evident in his photo series, Misadventures. The creative scenes feature interesting characters who embark on long, epic journeys through dream-like landscapes, all in hopes of finding a place to belong. His amazing work has been published in The New York Times Magazine as well asPDN.

The most important characteristic of this photos is the curiosity it provokes.

You can see there is a history, not only because there is always a road or a city that someone left behind, but specially because he creates characters. 

When you see these pictures you want to know what happened before or what happens next. In addition, they all share the aesthetic as realistic dream that makes you travel to other worlds.
